Description

"What is wrong with me? Why am I feeling this way at late hours in the night? What is this pain that I am feeling? Its hard to discribe. This pain is new to me. My body is weak and Im suffering a fever. Is it just a cold? Is it the flu? Is it something more? Im scared of what I cant describe or know. I dont know why Im feeling like this... Will it stay or will it go away? Is it serious? Is it life threatening? Is it just something that will pass away? I want to know so I can get help if I need it. I dont know what it is...Im stuck being awake all night, wondeirng why Im hurting inside. Its not normal..."

I have been sick for the past week. It caught me off gaurd and I fell very sick. I had to miss two days of work and went to the doctors. It was not swine flu or anything like that. It was the common cold and it took me awhile to heal for the most part. I rarely get sick and when I do get sick, my body aches and things feel very different to me. Im still getting over it now with body cramps and pains. I was fighting this cold like nothing else. There is no way Im going to miss FurFright this year, so I make sure that I am fully healed and ready to go there. If Im still in pain, Ill bare it and still go. Thats dedication.

The crosshatching, as always, was extremely well done. It really shows how much effort, and passion you put into this piece, along with previous work as well. The positioning of the character shows signs of discomfort along with a bit of hopelessness, you really capture the moment in a way that the audience can understand and easily reflect on in their own lives. As for the written part, again very well done. It really brings the illustration more to life, rather then just having the drawing by itself (although the drawing is very strong on it's own). All together a very emotional, well rounded piece of work.
