Throwing Away Memories

" ... It has been some time since him and I broke up along with a few of my friends. We were close and always exchanged gifts and alike. I hung them on my wall as well as keep a few momentous near my dresser and desk. I always wanted to be reminded about our fun times and happy times by looking at those items. But now, everything went down the drain and I still had those items about my room. I want to try to forget and move on. Every time I looked at them, I could just feel sadness and anger... So I gathered up what I had from my ex and my friends and tossed them away.

"It was rather hard doing so, each item and gift had some sentimental value attached to it that I dont want to forget. Photographs, Books, Toys, Jewelry...It was very hard because each piece I through away, I felt like I was throwing away a piece of myself along with it. This is the only way I could move on with my life and create a fresh start."
