Life's A Chibi: Simple Message

A Valentines Day Life's a Chibi image. Had to draw one since I don't have enough time to draw a full out illustration.

Yeah, its Valentines Day - a holiday made up by the candy company in order to sell cheap chocolates in the shapes of hearts, flowers and phallic objects. Pink and red everywhere and where people are 'forced' to show their love to another.

I've seen a lot of people express how they feel about their partner. Many offers them candy and treats, others spend a lot on accessories that decorates their bedroom in to a love-shack with some Barry White music in the background. Some go out to very fancy restaurants and/or buy them cars and boats, even expensive holiday trips. There is no wrong way to express your love for one another as long as no one gets hurt in the process. Personally, I'm a simple romantic and I believe that the smallest creative gesture speaks more than the value of money and how much something costs in the end. A simple hand-made card, a picture, a drawing, a self-written song or poem, something that you personally made has a deep impact. Even just helping the other make dinner at home is enough to show how much you care about that person. However this is something you can't just throw together quickly and without any feeling in it. If you want to make your love something nice and sweet, make sure it comes form the heart. The more love you put into it, the more powerful the signal is. The size of your gift or your message doesn't matter, as long as you mean it and put a lot of energy into making it happen.

Love can be simple, not expensive. True love shouldn't cost you anything. "Money can't buy happiness" as one would say. This is true to some and for others its not. It doesn't matter in the end as long as you make the other person happy.
