Life's A Chibi: Love Hate Relationship

There are times when you hate yourself. You look at yourself and you just can't stand the sight of your own reflection. Your self esteem is low and you find nothing good about yourself. You mentally and/or verbally scream at yourself for your flaws and what you believe. It gets to a point where you start to break down for hating yourself too much, for not loving who you are and not believing anything good about yourself. From those verbal attacks, you inflicted "wounds" upon yourself, wounds that only you can see.

After so much hatred and screaming at yourself for your "flaws", you slowly start to remember and see the good qualities in yourself, buried deep within that black hole of self doubt and self hatred. It takes time, but you remember the qualities about yourself that you feel good about. Many things that you shamed about yourself were either facts blown out of proportion or completely made up. Remember those good qualities about yourself, you start to heal the "wounds" you inflicted on yourself. You forgive yourself and soon, start to love yourself and remember your positive qualities.

People rage-vent to themselves, about themselves. When they feel unimportant, worthless, or their self-esteem is low, they pick out qualities about themselves that they either blown out of proportion or think that something small and negative outweighs something large and good. They blame themselves for being imperfect when no one really is. When the anger passes and the waves have settled, they slowly start to see that what they were yelling and screaming about themselves were false. You yourself start to apologize for your false accusations. You yourself start to forgive yourself and soon, start to love yourself again.

The one important person who can heal you from your own self doubts and self hatred is YOU. You know yours, your real self, who you are, what you believe is true and what you know is true. Your friends and family are there as well to back up your good self to remind you that you are who you are and you are perfect. If you find something that you don't like about yourself, take the harmless steps needed to heal yourself. If your good self is not enough to help you with the healing process, have your family, friends and love ones help you.

Love yourself because there is only one of you, and that makes you very important.
