Description

" As I hear the wind rushing through my ears, I imagine myself as a light paper bag traveling with the wind. Having the gift of flight is something that should never be taken for granted. With my open arms and my extended bat wings, I soar though the clouds and taste the sun's rays upon my fur. I glide along the surface of the clouds, my toes caressing against the material as I leave my mark upon the sky. I look down at the world below me, gazing at it's amazing beauty from above. How I wish I can live among the clouds - just staring at the world below like my own personal television set. But sadly, that will never be. Being able to live upon the clouds will give me peace and an escape from the tortures of living on this world: A dream that will never be answered. For now, I will just be content to look down upon the world before I glide downward towards my home. I close my eyes at the end of each flight, feeling the rush of wind passing through my fur and wings. Every time, I feel like I am a fallen angel, dropping from the clouds to start a life on the earth's surface. Before I get too close to ease my flight, I whisper to myself: "Here I come, World!"
