You are who you are. You are what you are. But there are people out there who regard you as a freak, an idiot, as someone who is not like everyone else in the world. Strangers, people you dont know think this all the time whenever they see someone who dresses funny, who has a different hair color or who carries an item with them that does not belong; anything physical that they can see and point out. Maybe because of the kind of species you are.

You can not help but think that people are talking behind your back; mocking you, telling false or twisted stories about you, pointing you out like a clown on the street. You are the center of negative attention and they expect you to just stand there and listen. They think that you dont have feelings and you dont care. And if you do have feelings, they will continue to make you feel bad and destroy yourself from the inside out.

Everyone is different in everyway. Everyone is unique and special. Everyone judges another from a small degree to a large one. They mock you about something that they dont understand, or refuse to understand about it. They talk behind your back to their other friends so that they too can spread the rumors about like the flu until everyone is against you. You then feel alone and hurt by the pointing and laughing of those around you. if you try to speak out against them, you get into a fight or they will ignore you and continue to mock you. This just doesn't happen in Elementary school or High School. This happens throughout your life until the day you are in your death bed.

When one gets hurt by these lies, these fault stories, they try to change themselves. They try to dress in the way their bullies dress or act in the same way. But in many ways, that would make things worse. They will call you a "wanna be" and gives them another reason why they should continue to mock you.

Society now is all based on looks, on physical appearance. You must dress in a certain way, you must act in a certain way and you much think in a certain way. If you dont do or act like everyone else, you get crapped on.

Coming from an art student, you can dress or fit your hair any way you feel like it. Your own choice of clothing, hair color, smell and accessories defines you, it makes you who you are. It makes you unique. It makes you special. You have your own voice. You wish to be that spot of color in a black and white world. Just because others think that the way you act, the way you dress or who you are is wrong, idiotic and profound, is no reason why you should change yourself to fit their needs. If you continue to wear what you want to wear, act in a way you want to act and talk in a way you want to talk, then someone will notice you and you will see that you are not alone and that someone else has similar interest like you.

Be yourself.
